So everything is coming into place and starting in early November I am going to start offering a few ceramic workshops from my stunning studio. I am looking into starting with women’s classes and kids classes (ages 8-13).
What day of the week works best for you? Do you like afternoon classes ( while the kids are at school?) or evening classes? Should you prefer to send your child to an art class after school one day a week or on weekends? I am interested in your opinions. Let’s get a conversation going ! I’ll be posting more info on classes soon do keep checking in on our Facebook page. Looking forward to your comments
The most important thing to learn when working with ceramics is patience.
The most important thing to learn when working with ceramics is patience. I have learned this the hard way over and over. And today unfortunately I have learned it again. My tree of life I was creating for the OTC shul has exploded 🙁 I was so excited to paint it that I fired it after only 1 week of drying time. It looked and felt dry but I guess it was was still wet in the inside. But as any good ceramic artist know you have to enjoy the work and not cry over exploded, cracked work.
